How to Prepare for a Protest

  • Social distance, quarantine, and follow Connecticut health recommendations regarding COVID-19 the best you can

  • Monitor how you are feeling physically and mentally

  • Sleep well the night before

  • Eat high nutrition foods (like oatmeal, eggs, nut-butter)

  • Hydrate before the event

  • Do research on the protest in terms of:

    • Accessibility

    • Location

    • Weather

    • Potential for Violence

    • Parking/Transportations

  • Write down contacts you may need for support

  • Contribute virtually if you think you have been exposed to COVID-19
